Come and enjoy an educational and relaxing adventure visiting Coronado Island, which is a must-do tour while visiting Loreto. A quick ride to the island may reveal a variety of sea life, including dolphins, manta rays, sea turtles, and possibly whales. You never know what you might see, as the famous explorer Jacques Cousteau called the Sea of Cortez ‘The World’s Aquarium.

As you cruise around the island, your guide will point out various points of interest, including different volcanic rock formations, snorkeling spots, and a visit to the sea lion colony. Then, you’ll head to the north side of the island to view additional volcanic rock formations, including the famous Monkey Face.

Once we have circled the island, we will set up for you on the beach. This includes arranging shade, chairs, an ice chest with beverages, and ceviche with chips. Then, you can sit back and relax, either sunbathing or enjoying the crystal-clear water

Note: If you would prefer to spend more time snorkeling rather than relaxing on the beach, please let your captain know while you are at the snorkeling site, as we won’t be able to backtrack.
